In the midst of difficult days for big tech companies, Netflix announced a successful 2022 shutdown with an increase in paying subscribers.
The entertainment giant released its quarterly results, adding 230.75 million paying subscribers after introducing more accessible but ad-supported memberships in some markets.
Netflix managed to increase subscribers by 7.66 million compared to the third quarter of 2022, when their number increased by 223.09 million. Most importantly, the company survived a terrible second quarter of 2022, when its number of subscribers fell to 220.67 million.
