Scientists say that even a weak storm can affect the well-being of people, especially the elderly and dependent on the weather.
The Earth will be covered by the first magnetic storm in 2023. It is predicted for Wednesday, January 4, and, as experts say, it will be weak – category G1. This was reported by the space weather tracking website Spaceweather.
At the same time, on the Gismeteo website, the phenomenon is predicted for Thursday, January 5. And on January 4, 6 and 7, minor disturbances in the geomagnetic field are expected.
As you know, magnetic storms are disturbances in the Earth’s geomagnetic field. They are fueled by streams of charged particles thrown out by the Sun.
Such phenomena cause headaches, nausea and vomiting, dizziness, heart disease, high or low blood pressure, exacerbation of chronic diseases, fatigue and drowsiness, and increased irritability.
Experts have provided tips to help you survive a magnetic storm more easily:
-
Less nervous and avoid sources of stress;
-
Leave coffee, energy drinks, alcoholic beverages and soda, and drink herbal teas instead;
-
Limit the consumption of fatty, fried, spicy and unnatural foods;
-
Spend more time outside
-
Ventilate the room regularly;
-
Before going to bed, take a contrast shower;
-
Sleep together, try to sleep at least seven hours a day.
Remember that about once every 80-100 years, superstorms occur on the Sun, which can cause catastrophic consequences on Earth.
