What attracted you to the Losc project?
Paulo Fonseca. The club recently contacted me, explained the project and ambitions. We talked about many things. From the beginning I was very excited and we reached an agreement and that is why I am here and ready to work. There is already an incredible technical staff, organization and infrastructure here. I have already seen many matches and understood the main characteristics of this championship. We are not going to win every game, but I have to feel at the end of every match that we gave everything, that we fought until the end, that we showed courage.
What kind of coach are you?
I cannot give all the details. I am a coach with different ideas. I’m an attacking coach, I want the team to take the initiative, dominate, go forward, have the ball, be an aggressive team when we don’t have the ball or lose it. We know that it will take some time for the club to adapt to my ideas. We want to have a strong team, with a strong identity, a team that dominates the game, that produces good football. We also want a team that will fight until the end, until the last minute, whether it’s against PSG or against another club.
Do you already know what kind of workforce you will have?
I studied the team, the players a lot. It is easy for me to see what can be built here. The club will do everything to build an ambitious team. We work together to find the best options for the team. We know that a few players will leave, but we are working to find players who can play my game, who can bring a strong mentality to this team. We are looking for the best solutions. We know that the championship is very difficult with many big teams. But we want to be ambitious and make our supporters proud.
