congresswoman Patricia Chirinos announced that it would vote for the third presidential vacancy proposal submitted by Parliamentarian Edward Malaga-Trillo if adopted at the plenary session to be held next Thursday at 6:00 pm. In this regard, he indicated that there are still congressmen who will support the proposal this time.
“We see that there are many congressmen who are terrified that the Congress will be closed, as well as most Peruvians that they will be left without this very important institution, the only one that can balance democracy, because if we don’t see that the government is out Pedro Castillo forward, and we clearly see that his only goal is to perpetuate himself in power,” he said.
In an interview with RPP Noticias, the MP for Avanza País noted that her bench has spoken to other political groups in Congress, including members of the Magisterial Bloc, “who are very annoyed with the government Pedro Castillo because he hasn’t kept many promises and they feel they’ve been left out.”
In addition, he recalled that some of them did not agree with the choice Betsy Chavez as President of the Council of Ministers. Congress to vote if it allows vacancy proposal
