The First Provisional Criminal Division of the Supreme Court upheld the verdict against former presidential adviser Fujimori, Vladimir Montesinosin a case involving the illegal purchase of rockets and ammunition and the acquisition of riot control equipment between 1999 and 2000.
The judgment was issued at the request of the fourth senior prosecutor specializing in corruption offences, officials of Central Lima, represented by the deputy senior prosecutor. Juan Manuel Fernandez Castillo.
