In the Donetsk region on Sunday, the number of attacks by the invaders decreased slightly, in Lugansk Armed Forces of Ukraine they are gradually advancing in the battles, President Volodymyr Zelensky said in an evening speech.
“The most difficult battle, as before, was in the Donetsk region. Although there were fewer attacks today – due to the deterioration of the weather, the number of shellings of Russia remains, unfortunately- palm, huge. Luhansk region – we are moving a little bit by bit and there are battles. In general, in the east, there are almost 400 shellings since the beginning of the day… In the south, we hold the defense, consistent, very calculated, we destroy the potential of the invaders,” said Zelensky.
The President also stated that it is possible to alleviate the situation through energy in some regions, where there were many real problems on Saturday.
“Tonight, there are stabilization shutdowns in 15 regions and also in Kyiv. Mainly – Vinnitsa, Sumy, Poltava, Khmelnytsky, Ivano-Frankivsk, Kyiv regions and the capital. We are doing everything possible and impossible to restore normality of life in Odessa, Kharkov and all our cities and communities,” said the head of state.
Remember that the operation to liberate the Luhansk region will not be quick, because the invaders have long been strengthened in this direction at the expense of the militants of the so-called “LPR” and the forces that were previously in the Kharkiv region.
