Candidate Podemos Peru, Daniel Urrestysaid that at the moment it is “impossible to know” who won the mayoral election in Lima.
“It is not yet known who will win, so we must calmly wait,” he said in press statements.
According to the exit poll from América TV – Ipsos, Renovación Popular candidate Rafael López Allaga won 26.8%, while the former interior minister received 25.8% of the vote.
