The Peruvian government, through the Ministry of Energy and Mines, issued a permit to start commercial exploitation keljavecowhose Peruvian copper production will begin to be exported to the world from the Moquegua region, adding an additional 10% to the national copper production once this new mining operation reaches its maximum capacity level.

Quellaveco will enable the generation of resources that will help develop and fill gaps in the Moquegua and Peru region at a critical time to reactivate the post-pandemic economy.
