President of the Republic of Peru Pedro Castillo ranks third with the least disapproval of all leaders Latin Americaaccording to a survey conducted by Ipsos.
The poll was conducted among 297 opinion leaders from 12 countries of the region, of which only 15% approved of the president’s activities. Peter’s castlejust a year after the beginning of his reign.
Below the rulers of Cuba, Miguel Diaz-Caneland from Venezuela Nicholas Madurowhich have lower approval of 14% and 5% respectively.
The president with the most approval is Luis Alberto Lacalle Pou of Uruguay with 74% of the vote; Gabriel Boricfrom Chile, with 49%; Ivan Duke, from Colombia, with 40%; Guillermo Lasso from Ecuador with 38%; Luis Arce Catacora from Bolivia with a 30% share.
They are followed by Panama presidents Laurentino Cortiso with 27%; from Mexico Andres Manuel Lopez Obrador with 24%; from Brazil, Jair Bolsonaro, 20%; and from Argentina Alberto Fernandez with 19% approval.

One more point interview also noted that 60% rated Peru as “bad democracy’, 18% as “hybrid regime” and 16% as “full democracy”.
At the same time, 56% stated that economic situation country is bad, 26% is good, 10% is very bad.
