congressman Wilson Soto (People’s Action) announced the submission of the final report of the constitutional complaint against President Pedro Castillo for the alleged crime of treason against the President Subcommittee on Constitutional Charges Congress.
Through his social networks, the congressman accionpopulista shared the office’s position on delivering the report to the president of the parliamentary commission, Rocio Torres (Alliance for Progress). Congressmen Norma Yarrow (Avanza País) and José Cueto (People’s Renewal) also present the report, according to the document.
The official letter states that the report was submitted against the president “for alleged constitutional violations and the crime of high treason against the country to the detriment of the state, in order to continue the relevant proceedings.”
