Congressman Peru Libre, Flavio Cruz, said this Wednesday that there is a complete disconnect between his group and President Pedro Castillo. For the parliamentarian, this led to the decision to propose that he resign because the president does not govern with respect for the ideals of the party.

Flavio Cruz noted, in his opinion, that the president had already responded to Free Peru in recent statements today, but clarified that the position of the bench was unanimous on the request for the president’s resignation. “We have never been organic. We have never met 37 in the congregation, there have always been some missing, and sometimes groups that make up the teacher block, but we have always been different. We tried to articulate, but it was not achieved,” he said.
