President of the Republic Pedro Castillo confirmed on Tuesday that he will attend next Monday, June 27, to testify before Congressional Oversight Commissionin the case of Sarratea et al.

The chairman of the Oversight Commission, Hector Ventura, called on President Pedro Castillo to tell the truth next Monday, June 27, when he makes his statement to the parliamentary working group on the Sarratea case.

Trial Chamber rejects habeas corpus to dismiss complaint against president
The Congressional Subcommittee on Constitutional Charges may continue to consider a constitutional complaint filed against President Pedro Castillo for the alleged crime of treason.
This is due to the fact that the First Constitutional Chamber of Lima upheld the ruling declaring inadmissible the habeas corpus action filed by the head of state through his defense to annul the agreement adopted by the said parliamentary working group on February 28, 2008. where this constitutional complaint against the president is accepted for consideration and as an additional requirement that its final file be ordered.
