Ukrainian performer Taras Topolya, who was the head of voting among the judges for the Eurovision National Selection, said who he voted for. He said this in an interview with MUZVAR.
According to him, he voted for the soloist of the group Go_A, who represented Ukraine in the international song contest in 2021.
“I gave my personal vote to Ekaterina from Go_A, I wanted her to take the judging seat. Although I am also very glad that Jamala will be at the judging table,” he said.
The musician also admitted that he did not follow the voting process, because he was busy with important things, such as raising funds for anti-drone guns and helping the children of fallen colleagues.
“Furthermore, finally, I got a chance to see my wives and children and other musicians of the group. So, there was no time for voting,” added Taras Topolya.
It was previously reported that Taras Topolya admitted that it was a surprise for him to be a candidate for the Eurovision 2023 jury.
