Ukrainian artist Andrey Danilko has sold his unique 1974 Rolls-Royce Silver Shadow car, which belonged to Freddie Mercury and which the legendary musician drove until the last days of his life. This was reported by the press service of the auction house.
He is selling it to build a rehabilitation and prosthetics center in Ukraine.
Bidding will take place at the Sotheby’s auction in London on 5 November. The starting price of the auction lot is 20-30 thousand pounds sterling.
Danilko admitted that he once bought this iconic car to donate it to the Queen Museum or make it part of a large exhibition in Ukraine.
