In Kyiv, it is more difficult to negotiate with businesses to enter the kitchen and show the process.
Ukrainian restaurateur Mikhail Katsurin and travel blogger Anton Ptushkin launched a joint food travel show to showcase the world, people and culture through food. Now they focus on Kyiv.
“For a very long time I dreamed of talking about Kyiv, because I love the city. For me, Kyiv is an unreal world-class gastronomic place. We live here, so often not we notice it and take it for granted. But in the issue I can’t show even 10% of what I want, because there are many outstanding places. If you show them all, the episode will be 8 hours. So I made a separate guide to my favorite places , “said Katsurin.
In the new issue dedicated to the food of the capital, Misha and Anton talk about shawarma, cheesecake, chicken Kiev and more.
“This is my first release, which I recorded entirely in Ukrainian. Because of the limited vocabulary, I felt like I was in the first grade at a night school. Bekal, mekal, is shy and helpless. But I’m learning,” said Katsurin
Remember that earlier agency WhyNot? Enot gave awards to the best Ukrainian bloggers. Ptushkin also won.
Blogger Ptushkin was banned from entering Russia for 50 years
