UK radio host dies during live broadcast

British radio presenter Tim Gough died during a morning live broadcast on the GenX Radio station. This was reported by The Guardian.

It was learned that a 55-year-old man was broadcasting from his home, but suddenly lost consciousness. The cause of death was not reported, but according to local media, the death was the result of a heart attack.

“It is with heavy hearts that we announce that our dear friend and morning host Tim Gough passed away this morning,” the station said in a statement.

Gough grew up in a village near Bury St Edmunds, Suffolk and began his broadcasting career with Radio Orwell in 1986 before joining GenX Radio.
