The musicians are touring Europe with charity concerts in support of the Ukrainian people.
In Florence, a planned concert by Ukrainian group Tanko at Maidan Congo was cancelled. This was announced by vocalist Alexander Sidorenko, known as Fozzy, on Facebook.
According to the musician, law enforcement agencies confirmed this by the fact that an action of neo-fascists was taking place nearby. As a result, the event was canceled for security reasons.
“Florence is beautiful. Unexpectedly, it’s just beautiful. It’s just that they didn’t let us play there yesterday – the police revoked the permit for the action. It’s like – there’s an action of neo-fascists nearby, better not got worse. They wouldn’t even let me play guitar. And the drummer’s phone was stolen from his pocket. That’s the tour plan yesterday,” he wrote.
It was previously reported that a charity concert by the group Zhadan and Dogs in Italy was canceled due to fundraising for the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
