It’s a mini-circus with a clumsy horse, a funny opera of four sacks, a lyrical flight of migrant gloves, a dance sequence where the characters are carried away in the blue sky… From tomorrow until October 28, Hermès will take over the Grande Halle de la Villette in Paris with its show. the Light factory, a tale in seven scenes around the imaginary adventure of the foals of Pegasus, the winged horse of Greek mythology. In this dream world, the many sketches combine dance, object theatre, music and film, staged by director Jaco Van Dormale and choreographer Michel Anne De May, with the dance company Astragales.
As in their previous works Kiss & Cry: and: coolness, the hands lead the dance as if they were characters, in an environment of miniature objects and shot live on the big screen. The poetic universe, held at the tip of the fingers, immediately responds to the hand of the craftsman…
