Instead of concerts abroad, the musicians will work with their battalion and commanders.
Members of the Ukrainian band Antytila, after a massive missile attack on the territory of Ukraine, decided to postpone all October concerts abroad until 2023. The musicians announced this on Instagram.
According to the group’s frontman, he, along with his colleagues, is in Ukraine, working with the 130th territorial defense battalion.
“Hundreds of innocent civilian deaths, destruction of infrastructure, important energy infrastructure. All this is somewhat reminiscent of the beginning of the war. Everyone understands that this is a new phase of escalation and how it will end is unknown . We have to be prepared for different scenarios. For us, it is also clear, first of all, as citizens of the country, and secondly, as musicians, that we must be with our people. For now, it will remain us in Ukraine in close cooperation with our battalion and in communication and interaction with our commanders “, – said Taras Poplar.
As for new dates of concerts in Poland, the band will announce in the near future. Apparently, it is March, and the purchased tickets will remain valid.
“Antibodies will give absolutely huge solo concerts. In the near future there will also be announcements of concerts in other countries of the world. For the sake of supporting Ukraine, first-hand stories about war and the popularization of Ukrainian culture,” sums up the artist.
Earlier it was reported that Taras Poplar reported the death of three comrades from the 130th battalion.
