The musician has never seen his son in the role of a military man. The man was serving in the north of the country.
The Ukrainian musician, the frontman of the Druga Rika band Valery Kharchishin spoke about his son Dmitry, who is serving in the Armed Forces of Ukraine. He shared his revelations in an interview with Slava Demin.
The star admitted that the son first went to the defense, and then received a military ID and officially became a military man. At the same time, the musician’s cousin is also in front.
“My son is in the Armed Forces of Ukraine, my brother told me enough. I’m afraid that anything could happen. It’s a war. I’m worried about them,” Kharchishin admitted.
The singer’s son serves in the north of Ukraine.
“It was scary when he first came. The man who did not serve in the army, who was a complete pacifist, graduated from the philosophical faculty of Shevchenko University, and he was definitely not about war, not about weapons. When I arrived, I started randomly showing him how to disassemble father’s gun … I don’t know why I showed him. Maybe he thought I was messing with him? When he said he was going, I wasn’t scared, I thought. that anything could happen. I was sad me. I thought that anything could happen. No one knows how long this war will last, how much will come to us,” added Kharchishin.
He sincerely admitted that he did not want to abandon his son in the war.
“When I first approached him, such a nerd came out to me wearing glasses, he wears them all his life. I want to hug him and not let him go anywhere. I think: what is he doing here, why he is here ? Some strong boys asked, but they lacked weapons. And they took my little one: he went and they immediately took him. It is clear that I did not stop him. It was a very brave step. Especially for him. The next time I saw him, it wasn’t a guy, it was a man,” the musician said.
Recall that earlier Druga Rika released a song dedicated to the defenders of Azovstal and Mariupol who were victims of the war.
