The concert is scheduled for April next year in the city of Krakow. The organizers did not provide a venue.
In the city of Krakow in Poland, the concert of former member and founder of the British band Pink Floyd, who supports the war in Ukraine, Roger Waters, was canceled. The reason is his position regarding “special operations”, writes Reuters.
The musician was supposed to perform next April, but local media reported on his open letter to the first lady of Ukraine, Elena Zelenskaya, in which he invited her to talk to her husband, the president of Ukraine, and convince him that the country should lay down its arms and surrender to the Russian Federation.
In this regard, the organizers refused to give the star a concert venue.
“Live Nation Polska and Tauron Arena Krakow have canceled the Roger Waters concert,” the organizers said in a statement on the concert hall’s website. They did not give a reason for the cancellation.
It is worth noting that the current members of the group do not support the former colleague’s position. They are completely on the side of Ukraine.
We will remind you, Waters previously said that he considered US President Joe Biden a war criminal for setting fires in Ukraine.
