The deputy of the local city council Lukasz Wantuch wants to cancel the concert of a musician who supports the war in Ukraine.
In Poland, they demand to ban the concerts of one of the founders of the Pink Floyd group, Roger Waters, after his letter to the first lady of Ukraine, Elena Zelenskaya, in which he called for the refusal to give weapons from in the United States. This was reported by PolsatNews.
It was noted that in April 2023, the artist is scheduled to perform two performances in Krakow, however, Lukasz Wantuch, a member of the local city council, wants to cancel the event, because the musician openly supports the war in Ukraine.
“Roger Waters, an open admirer of Putin, wants to play at the Tauron Arena in Krakow. On Wednesday we will have a meeting of the Krakow city council, and I will talk to the president and advisers to block it,” said he.
At the same time, Lukasz Wantuch added that holding this event would be a shame for Poland. “Let him sing in Moscow.”
Earlier it was reported that Roger Waters wrote an open letter to the first lady of Ukraine, Olena Zelenskaya, in which he called on the side of our country to refuse “weapons supplies from the United States.”
