The model will enter the market in China on September 21. The cost of such a smartphone is approximately UAH 36,000.
The Chinese company Huawei presented the new satellite-connected smartphone of the flagship series Mate 50 Pro a day before Apple’s event in September, which was supposed to present the iPhone 14, writes Gizmochina.
The Huawei series includes four models: Mate 50E, Mate 50, Mate 50 Pro and Mate 50 RS Porsche Design. However, one of the most interesting – Huawei Mate 50 Pro – it has support for Beidou-3 satellite connection. This means that without a cellular connection from the phone, it is still possible to send text messages, share geotags and simply make calls.
In addition, the Mate 50 Pro has a proprietary XMAGE image processing technology – the main camera independently selects the required aperture size depending on the conditions.
The gadget is equipped with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Plus Gen 1 processor. It also has IP68 dust and moisture protection, heavy-duty Kunlun Glass and a 4700 mAh battery with support for 50 W wireless charging.
Remember that earlier the company’s stores were closed in Russia. The decision was made because of the war in Ukraine.
