With the outbreak of a full-scale war in Ukraine, up to 30% of Russian artists left the country or stopped performing. This was reported by the Russian media.
It was noted that this happened against the backdrop of the cancellation of performances by foreign performers in Russia. MTS Entertainment said that ticket sales for concerts by artists from the Russian Federation decreased by 23% compared to 2021, and by 56% from 2019.
Thus, the share of Russian artists increased in ticket sales. In 2019, in Moscow it was 67%, and in the regions – 89%, and in 2022 it was 97% and 96%, respectively.
Earlier it was reported that Russian actors Chulpan Khamatova and Anatoly Bely supported Ukraine in a performance in the capital of Latvia, Riga.
