The famous Ukrainian TV presenter and restaurateur Daniel Salem, who went to defend his homeland at the outbreak of war, was wounded on the front line. He revealed this in the program Neumovirna Truth About Ukrainians.
So, he is currently on sick leave due to an injury, and when he has free time, he volunteers.
“I’m in a special unit, and I’m in air reconnaissance in brigade 299, so we have trips. Now my family is gone, I have no friends except my military brothers. And if we go on “rest”, so to speak, I choose to do something useful – as a volunteer. For example, today I had sick leave because I had a back injury. I caught, as they say, a bullet in my armor,” he said.
At the same time, Daniel Salem admitted that this is not the first wound on the front line. At the beginning of a large-scale war, he received shell shock, as a result of which his ear was damaged.
“Now there is a tumor – a cyst that prevents the return of hearing,” added the celebrity.
It was previously reported that Salem showed the “housing” of employees in the ranks of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
