The artist will make a show in which the Russians will be ashamed, because they are part of a society that is at war against Ukraine.
Ukrainian singer Alina Pash will go to the Sziget festival in Hungary, where Russian artists will take part. He announced this on his Instagram page.
According to the celebrity, in case of rejection, this site will not have a counterweight among the Russians. At the same time, other Ukrainian artists were present at the event, asking the organizers of the festival to cancel the performances of the Russians.
“Yes, it is cynical of them to support Ukraine and legalize the Russians at the same time. And it is possible to raise a public scandal, but it will risk canceling the “successes of diplomacy” and, worst of all all, the Russians left only the voice of the festival. For smaller festivals, the refusal, perhaps, will only have a more positive effect on the interests of Ukraine, but in large festivals such as Sziget, weighing all the factors , including the readiness of other Ukrainian artists to perform, I also decided not to refuse. This is a very difficult and painful compromise. However, we are convinced that with our “correct” presence we can help Ukraine in the international arena more more than a demonstrative demarche,” he wrote.
At the same time, the singer added that he was preparing a special show so that Russian artists would be ashamed of the unleashed war in Ukraine.
“In Sziget, I am preparing a special show. I will do my best to make these artists feel ashamed of being part of a society that is at war against Ukraine and against the free world,” emphasized Alina Pash .
It was previously reported that Alina Pash admitted that in 2015 she performed in Crimea with Irina Bilyk.
