MiGu’s invention has the ability to detect fatigue based on brain waves, which can help prevent accidents.
Chinese company Xiaomi has released a device that will allow users to control their smart home using brainwaves. This was reported by The Register.
In particular, the Xiaomi MiGu is equipped with three sensors that record the electrical signals of the brain.
The inventors also think the device could monitor brain waves to detect signs of fatigue while driving or used to control household appliances.
According to the publication, brain wave detection technology is not new. In 2004, it was used to measure and characterize the skull condition of professional rugby players in Australia. Team coaches have used this technology to show players how to achieve certain emotional states so they can respond appropriately to pressure on the pitch.
It was previously reported that a Chinese company introduced a computer case with a built-in fish tank.
