The wildlander Chinese market will receive the design of the new RAV4, but with a different set of power plants.
In China, Toyota is preparing a wildlander crossover update, made in conjunction with GAC and an alternative to familiar FAW RAV4. The freshness will almost completely repeat the design of the last generation of RAV4, but has its own technical details, reports Carscoops.
The first images of the model appeared thanks to the Chinese Ministry of Industry and informatization. Unlike the predecessor with a great facade and behind, the new wildlander visually coincides with the RAV4 core version – with a radiator grille in body color and protective overlay on bumpers. At the same time, off -road options such as Woodland and Adventure, as well as sports GR sport, are not provided for China.
Model sizes are 4600 mm long, 1855 mm wide and 1680 mm high with a wheel 2690 mm – almost like RAV4 for Europe and USA. The main feature recognizes are the machines: if the global RAV4 has completely switched to the electrified power plants, then the wildlander retains the fuel version with an atmospheric 2.0-liter machine with a capacity of 169 hp. And the drive in front or all wheels.
Two hybrids are also offered without the possibility of recharging: with a 2.0-liter machine with a capacity of 150 hp. Or a 2.5-liter capacity of 182 hp, both electrical motor and opt-wheel drive or e-four options with all-wheel drive, where the movement of front tires is provided by an internal combustion of the machine, and the rear movement that uses a separate electrical motor.
The official premiere is expected in the coming months. Later, an updated RAV4 RAV4 from Faw Toyota will appear in the market, which is almost identical.
We will remind you, earlier it was reported that the sixth generation of Toyota Rav4 had been dedicated.
The next Suzuki Cross is based on Toyota Rav4
