“It’s time to announce the next contestant on Dancing with the Stars. Jamala is a Ukrainian singer and activist who supports her country in the fight for freedom. In the fall, the winner of the 61st Eurovision Song Contest will try the his hand on our dance floor,” the message said.
Who will be his partner on the floor is still unknown.
In this regard, the singer added that participating in the dances is another way to remind the world about the Ukrainian people who are suffering from the Russian invaders.
“For me participating in Dancing with the Stars is, first of all, an opportunity to remind me of my home. About the millions of suffering people and the importance of their support. The world should not be tired of us .Ukraine must not disappear from the air until we win,” wrote Jamala on Instagram.
