American musical group The Chainsmokers will be the first band to perform in space. It was reported by the Associated Press.
Andrew Taggart and Alex Poll have signed a contract to participate in one of the first World View flights. They will go to space in 2024, where they will hold a mini concert, which will be in a pressurized capsule, located about 30 kilometers from Earth.
“We have always dreamed of going to space and we are excited to partner with World View to experience this adventure and new experiences. We know that the views of Earth and space will be incredible and inspiring, so we hope to use this flight for creativity and future projects,” said the musicians.
