Hollywood actress Gal Gadot commented on criticism from Ostaneinsky activists.

“Who cares that celebrities say about politics? I’m an actor. I want to entertain people. I want to have hope and become a lighthouse of light every time I have something to say about the world,” Gadot said.
At the same time, the actress emphasized that she could not stay away when civilians were taken hostage.
“I was shocked at the amount of hostility, how many people thought they knew, even in fact they had no idea, as well as how often the media was not fair. So I had to speak,” Gadot said.
The star also reminds her roots: her grandfather survived the Holocaust, and he himself was an Israeli in the eighth generation.
“I was rooting for humanity. Then I felt like I was supposed to protect the hostages,” the actress added.
