The version with M4 Max received a 14-core processor, a 32-core graphic processor, a 16-core neuron engine, 36 GB of unified memory (with the possibility of expanding 128 GB), 512 GB of SSD (with the possibility of expanding 8 TB) and support of up to five monitors. The version with the M3 Ultra is equipped with a 28-core processor, a 60-core or 80-core graphic processor, a 32-core neural engine, 96 GB of unified memory (with the potential to expand up to 512 GB), 1 TB of SSD (with the possibility of expanding up to 16 TB) and will be able to support up to eight monitors.
The computer has four ports of Thunderbolt 5, an Ethernet 10 Gigabit connector, two USB-A, HDMI and a 3.5 mm audio output.
The new MacBook Air has received two versions – 13 and 15 inches. The initial configuration of the laptop with the M4 chip has a 10-core processor, 8 cores of graphic processor, 16 GB of unified memory and a 256 GB SSD drive. The higher adjustments have 10 cores of the graphic processor, up to 32 GB of united memory and the SSD drive up to 2 TB.
According to Apple, Macbook air in M4 is faster than Macbook air in M1, up to twice in ordinary activities and up to three in tasks related to artificial intelligence.
The new MacBook Air also received an enhanced time for the battery – up to 18 hours.
