Grigory Reshetnik’s wife shared how, due to ignorance of the new rules for entering Poland, she had to return to the Ukrainian border with her three children.
The wife of TV presenter Grigory Reshetnik, Kristina, said why she and her three sons were not allowed to cross the border into Poland. He announced it on Instagram.
The incident occurred due to non-compliance with the new rules for issuing green cards, which began on January 1, 2025.
According to Christina, she went on vacation in her own car and issued a “green card” on the day of the trip. However, now the document will be valid only the next day after registration. Therefore, the Polish border guards refused to allow the family:
“I approached the border, the Ukrainians let me in very quickly, and the Poles opened the documents and were surprised: “Oh God! You have 2 more hours.” Because it was 22:00, and the validity period of the “green card” is already 24:00. And they say: “Sorry, turn around,” Reshetnik shared.
After returning to the Ukrainian border, Kristina waited until the new day began and crossed the border after midnight.
In his blog, the blogger urged subscribers to carefully review the conditions for processing documents to avoid such situations: “I think the rules are all absolutely correct Buying a green card should be released early, at least a day so that it starts working correctly for you,” advised the wife of the TV presenter.
