Five years after the death of Gugu Liberato, who passed away in 2019 due to a domestic accident, the dispute over the R$1.4 billion inheritance left by the presenter was finally resolved, according to a statement published by Quem.
In his will, Gugu allocated 75% of his assets to his three children – João Augusto, Marina and Sofia – and 25% for his five nephews. Rose Miriam Di Matteo, mother of his children, was not mentioned in the document, which started the family controversy.

If the stable union were judicially recognized, Rose would be entitled to half of the assets of Gugu. However, the doctor decided to withdraw from the process in August 2024. As a result, the division of the assets followed the provisions of the will, that is, 75% for the children and 25% for the nephews.
