Transgender woman named Model of the Year

The Fashion Awards 2024 were held in London, annually celebrating the most influential representatives of the fashion industry.

The main event of the evening was the award presentation Model year 21-year-old Alex Consani is the first transgender woman to receive this title in the history of the award.

According to The New York Times, Consani received the award for her outstanding achievements in fashion during the year. His efforts not only redefined aesthetics, but became a symbol of change in the world of fashion.

In his speech, Alex thanked parents for their support and called on the fashion community to create an inclusive environment.

“Now more than ever, it’s important to talk about how to really support and inspire each other in this industry. Especially those who are made to feel useless. Change is not only possible, it’s necessary,” Consani said.

The model started her career at the age of 12, becoming the youngest transgender model in the world. His talent brought him to the catwalks of Tom Ford, Versace, Alexander McQueen, and in the spring-summer 2023 season he participated in the shows of Boss, Burberry, Chloé and others.
