Each volume of the book Mikhail Poplavsky: Life in Photographs is devoted to a certain period of his biography – from childhood to the present. The pictures are accompanied by stories and reflections by Poplavsky.
Kyiv University of Culture presented the anniversary edition of the book Mikhail Poplavsky: Life in photographs on the rector’s 75th anniversary. The university reported it.
“The creative team of Kyiv University of Culture presented an anniversary publication for the rector’s 75th anniversary. Mikhail Poplavsky: Life in photographs. In the three-volume book, through photos, the authors captured the life path of the hero of the day – from defeats to victories, from victories to recognition. They made the connection between the time and the events that changed the country, the main character and the people around him throughout his life. Each of the photos has historical value for the hero of the day, the university, Ukrainian show business, culture and the country as a whole,” the message said.

“Faith is magic. People like Mikhail Poplavsky are said to be self-made people. Self-belief became a motive for him for an irresistible desire to follow his own path in Ukraine. He can safely be called who is an innovator and a charismatic visionary, who is effective. He builds not according to templates and schemes, but calculates many steps forward and paves the way for the future,” says the annotation in the photo albums.

According to the authors, the narrative images of the photo trilogy convey the emotions and moods of the main character and the people he met along the path of his life.
Each volume is devoted to a certain period of Poplavsky’s biography – from childhood to the present.
The first volume includes personal photographs focusing on childhood, youth, family, native land, hobbies, starting your own business, charity, personal communication with famous personalities, achievements and awards.
The second volume presents artistic achievements: music videos, roles in films, books and creative television projects.
The third volume is about the main work of the rector’s life – the University of Culture.
A separate section of the third volume is devoted to the rector’s activity in social networks.
“This is how Mikhail Poplavsky looked on social media 15 years ago which became a new direction in brand communication strategy Today the rector of the University of Culture has the largest number of subscribers on Instagram – 8.2 million – covering 83 % of the Ukrainian audience, on TikTok – 1.5 million, they got millions of views on YouTube,” they told the University of Culture.

Poplavsky himself says that he creates trends in social networks.
