Azerbaijani gas supplies to Slovakia are carried out under a short-term pilot contract. At the same time, companies strive to develop long-term cooperation.
Azerbaijani oil company SOCAR has started supplying gas to Slovak state energy supplier SPP. The SOCAR press service reports this.
It was noted that supplies of Azerbaijani gas to Slovakia are carried out under a short-term pilot contract. At the same time, companies strive to develop long-term cooperation.
As you know, Slovakia became the 12th country where Azerbaijani gas was received. Deliveries also continue to Turkey, Georgia, Italy, Greece, Bulgaria, Romania, Hungary, Serbia, Slovenia, Croatia and North Macedonia.
Let’s recall that in September the State Oil Company of Azerbaijan (SOCAR) started supplying gas to Croatia. This is the result of the successful cooperation of the governments of the countries. Deliveries are carried out with the help of PPD and MET Group.
Earlier it was reported that Azerbaijan offered Ukraine and the European Union to supply natural gas to Europe through the Ukrainian gas transportation system against the backdrop of the expiration of the contract with the Russian Federation.
