Last Friday, the 29th, presenter Vera Viel released an update on her cancer treatment in a video on Instagram. The communicator reported that she completed half of the radiotherapy sessions, which followed surgery to remove a tumor in her leg.
In the video, she showed the scar resulting from the operation and highlighted the high probability of a cure.
Vera, wife of the presenter Rodrigo Farocommented: “Today I had the 15th radiotherapy session. How quickly it has gone by. Practically half of the treatment has already been completed”, she said. “I just have to thank God very much, for everything. For discovering this disease so early and the chance of a cure being enormous.”

The cancer was diagnosed at the beginning of October, with surgery to remove the tumor being carried out on the 11th of the same month. The procedure lasted more than eight hours, but was successful and without complications.
