The influencer denounces an international scam, calls lawyers and criticizes the lack of verification on the platforms; understand the case!
The influencer Rafa Uccman31, revealed on social media that he was the victim of an international scam. He was warned by the ex-BBBAriadna Arantes that a person in Australia was using his photos, in which he appears as a drag queen, on a prostitution website to deceive potential clients.
Upon learning of the case, Rafa He called his lawyers and expressed outrage at the situation.
I’m going to say one thing to whoever made this fake: people aren’t even eating me for free, let alone paying,” he joked.
He also regretted the way his image was used.
When I said I wanted to be internationally famous, it wasn’t like that. I wonder what customers receive when they realize the scam”, he added.
Rafa criticized the lack of verification on sites that allow fake profiles.
How can a site like this not ask for something to prove that it is the person? I’m not working in Australia, I’m in São Paulo, and that’s not me”, he stated.
He is considering taking legal action against the platform that allowed the creation of the fake profile.
Second time
This is not the first time that the influencer has faced this type of problem. He revealed that his photos had already been used in another similar scam outside Brazil. Now, Rafa and its legal team study whether the company responsible for the website has representation in the country so that legal measures can be taken.
The situation reinforces the importance of ensuring greater security and verification on online platforms, especially when there is a risk of exposure and misuse of third party images.
