In a post on the social network X (formerly Twitter), the artist said that he is currently in a long-term custody battle. According to Grimes, her public image is being used against her:
“I spent a year fighting for mother’s rights because my Instagram posts and modeling became the reason I shouldn’t be with my children,” she wrote.
Grimes added that most of the details of this period will remain behind closed doors, but admitted that the situation has greatly affected his life. The singer divorced Musk in 2022, but conflicts over parental responsibilities still persist.
