The top 5 brands of new cars actively purchased by Ukrainians in October included BMW, Toyota, Mercedes-Benz, Volkswagen and Renault.
According to Ukravtoprom data, in October Ukrainians spent UAH 11.1 billion on the purchase of new passenger cars.
This is 12% more than last year and 3% more than last month.
It was noted that almost half of this amount was spent on cars of only five brands.
So, the most money was paid for cars of the premium German brand BMW – UAH 1.374 billion.
While the second result is for TOYOTA, whose dealers earned UAH 1.217 billion.
In third place is MERCEDES-BENZ – UAH 1.204 billion.
VOLKSWAGEN collected more than 822 million UAH – fourth place.
And the top five leader in this rating is RENAULT, which has UAH 697 million in its pocket.
The top 10 brands of new cars that Ukrainians did not save on in October also included: AUDI, SKODA, PORSCHE, LAND ROVER, LEXUS.
In total, since the beginning of the year, new passenger cars worth UAH 104.2 billion have been sold in Ukraine, which is 20% more than the same period in 2023.
Let us remind you that in August the demand for electric cars increased in Ukraine. Ukrainians bought 6,445 battery-powered vehicles.
