Former One Direction members reunited for the first time in nine years to say goodbye to Liam Payne.
Former members of the iconic boy band One Direction have reunited for the first time in nearly a decade to honor their late bandmate Liam Payne, Page Six reports.
The funeral took place on November 20 in the artist’s homeland in the UK. The farewell ceremony was an emotional moment for the former band members. Styles arrived first, Tomlinson arrived later, and Malik and Horan joined a few minutes later. Although they came separately, that day brought them grief for their friend and colleague.
One Direction is one of the most successful boy bands of our time, created in 2010 on The X Factor. Before breaking up in 2016, the group released five studio albums, including hits like What Makes You Beautiful and Story of My Life. Their amazing success gave them millions of fans around the world, but after the breakup, each of the participants chose their own path in a solo career.
This moment of farewell is also a reminder of the special bond that remains between the members of One Direction to this day.
It was previously reported that Liam Payne, the former lead singer of the British group One Direction, has died sadly at the age of 31.
