The First Lady is not planning a full transition to the White House during her husband’s second term, staying closer to New York and Palm Beach.
US President Melania Trump’s wife will not move to Washington during Donald Trump’s second term.
According to insiders, she will spend most of her time in New York and Palm Beach, Florida. She will continue to serve as first lady but will remain outside the White House, mainly to support her 18-year-old son Barron, who is studying in New York.
During Donald Trump’s first term, his family already practiced a similar lifestyle: Trump spent weekends and holidays at his residences in Florida and New Jersey.
In recent years, Melania has had Florida connections and friends, so she will likely continue to spend time in Palm Beach, connecting with family and loved ones.
Melania Trump has previously been reported to have spoken about her first meeting with Donald Trump, which took place at Fashion Week 1998.
