A famous American actress visited Ukraine to tell the world that the war should stop.

Hollywood star Ben Stiller came to Ukraine to pay attention to the plight of internally displaced people as a result of the Russian invasion. He said this in an interview with TSN.

According to the actor, seeing all the destruction and talking to Ukrainians affected by the war is significantly different from watching the news on TV.

“You can’t feel it just by watching TV or social media. So I felt it was important to go here, tell the world that this war must stop, that people have a right to safety,” he said.

According to Stiller, he was deeply struck by the story of a woman who, along with ten -year -old twins, fled to safety. The star also recalled the story of a woman from Kharkov, who was injured in her leg and hospitalized in a hospital, which was soon subjected to enemy fire.

“Live conversations with victims provide insight into what exactly happened and how. The world must know about it to help stop it. My very first message is that we have no right to forget this. about refugees, “the actor added.

At the end of the interview, the UN Goodwill Ambassador addressed the people of Ukraine: “I send you a lot of support and love. You are with the Americans!”

Stiller was previously reported to have visited Ukrainian refugees in Poland.

Correspondent.net also reported that singer Zhenya Galich underwent training to improve her fighting skills in the ranks of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
