The influencer will undergo a new aesthetic procedure and the surgeon will assess the risks to Maya’s health; look!
The plastic surgeon Nicola Biancardi offered details about the new aesthetic procedure that the digital influencer Maya Massafera, 44 years old, plans to perform.
Massafera’s decision for yet another medical intervention comes after a significant weight loss of almost 30 kilos, which resulted in abdominal flaccidity. Dr. Biancardi exposed the technical aspects and risks associated with the treatment.
Maya Massafera, Through his social networks, he shared with his followers the reasons for choosing surgery.
She reported feeling that the skin on her belly had become saggy after losing significant weight. “My belly button is saggy due to weight loss, and as I already have a scar below my breast, the result of a previous prosthesis, the surgeon will make an incision in the same place to remove a triangle of skin and pull it”, explained the influencer.
Opting for reverse abdominoplasty, a less conventional but effective procedure in removing excess skin in the upper part of the abdomen, the incisions are strategically made below the breasts. “This method is mainly recommended for those who have sagging or excess skin in this region”, said Dr. Biancardi in a recent interview with Caras Brasil.
What is this technique?
The technique aims to correct what is known as “sad navel”, a condition in which the skin around the navel loses its natural tone, resulting in a droopy appearance. In the case of Massafera, the objective is to revitalize the contour of the upper part of the abdomen, providing a firmer and more defined look.
Dr. Biancardi highlighted that the results can be quite natural when carried out by an experienced professional. “In addition to the aesthetic improvement above the navel, it is possible to correct diastasis of the rectus abdominis muscles present in this area, offering not only aesthetic but also functional improvements. This results in a firmer and more defined waist”, concluded the specialist.
