According to the website Omelete, the new phase of the stories, called “All In”, will bring fans a new perspective on the origins of several characters, including that of the famous Batman.
The series “Detective Comics”, led by the writer Tom Taylor and by the comic artist Mikel Jani, will explore crucial events from Batman’s past to the future, impacting several events that will surround his “new” story. Issue number #1090 will feature two arcs, one in the present, with Batman fighting a mysterious enemy, and one in the past, which features Thomas Wayne, Bruce’s father, and a pregnant woman who is in a toxic relationship.
Thomas will take on the role of a dedicated doctor who saves a couple’s lives after a car accident. After receiving the news that the woman and the baby are fine, but that she has some injuries that were not the result of the accident, he suspects domestic violence.
Faced with this, Thomas faces a difficult choice when treating the young woman’s boyfriend, but decides to perform the necessary surgery to save him.
