Former member of the group Vopli Vidoplyasova, bassist Alexey Melchenko died at the age of 48, his friend Anna Pyatakova reported on her Facebook page.
In his message, he recalled that the artist was sincere and very talented. However, his life was cut short on October 8. The cause of death is still unknown.
“This will be a message in memory of someone we talked to and became friends with when we were 20-25 years old. About a sincere, talented person. He loved music, was a very good player of bass. Note that Alexey Melchenko has been a member of the Vopli Vidoplyasov group since 2007. The bass player left the band in 2017. In recent years, he avoided publicity and did not communicate with fans.
