The exhibition travels through the character’s magical world with interactive spaces divided into different sensory sections
From October 31st, visitors to the Shopping Metrô Tucuruvi, in São Paulo, will have the opportunity to delve into the fascinating narrative of “Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland”, one of the most iconic works of art. Lewis Carroll.
The exhibition“Adventure Trilogy: Alice” promises to transport the public to a world where reality and imagination intertwine, offering an immersive and interactive experience that revisits the classic published in 1865.
With a space of 800 square meters, the exhibition is a journey through Carroll’s unique imagination, involving an innovative combination of art, technology and history. The public will be led along a route full of vibrant scenery and special effects that recreate the dreamlike atmosphere of Wonderland.
Characters such as the scurrying White Rabbit, the philosophical Caterpillar, the eccentric Mad Hatter and the enigmatic Queen of Hearts will be on hand to guide visitors on this sensory adventure.
Different sections
The exhibition is divided into two main sections: “surface”, which explores themes linked to knowledge and rationality, and “underground”, which explores the illogical world discovered by Alice. Nine distinct environments make up this experience, including the “Creator and Creature”, the “Library”, the “Cabinet of Curiosities” and the famous “Rabbit Hole”.
Each space offers a unique interaction between reason and emotion, allowing participants to become part of the narrative.
The collection includes illustrations and works by renowned international artists such as Salvador Dali and Yayoi Kusama, in addition to Brazilians Adriana Peliano and Vladimir Barros. The curation also features a variety of media that show how Alice transcended the pages of the book to come to life in film, television and other cultural platforms.
Organized by the Bordas collective, known for notable immersive productions, the exhibition is supervised by Rodrigo Gontijoartist and researcher specialized in Multimedia. The event promises to not only delight fans of classic literature, but also attract new audiences by offering a rich educational and cultural experience.
