Sean Combs’ federal sex crimes trial begins on May 5, 2025, the same day as the Met Gala.
Judge Arun Subramanian has set a federal trial date for popular music mogul Sean Combs, better known as Puff Daddy.
We are talking about a case involving sex crimes. The process will begin on May 5, 2025 – the same time as the 2025 Met Gala, USA Today reports.
Combs was arrested at a Manhattan hotel on September 16 and appeared in court the next day. He was charged with racketeering, sex trafficking and prostitution. The rapper has denied all charges, maintaining his innocence despite the growing number of lawsuits against him.
His last court appearance on October 10 was with his sons Justin, Christian and Quincy, as well as his daughters Chance and D’Lila, who attended with his mother Janice. The trial was held under heavy security, and Combs was escorted out a side door by the US Marshals Service.
It was previously reported that American rapper P. Diddy’s mother, Janice Smalls Combs, made her first public statement following her son’s arrest.
