In celebration of the 40th anniversary of the launch of “Purple Rain” (1984), Airbnb offers fans of Prince a unique experience: the opportunity to stay in the iconic residence that served as setting for the film.
Acquired by the artist in 2015, the property remained closed to the public until then. Now, under the hospitality of Wendy Melvoin and Lisa Colemanmembers of the band The Revolution, the house opens its doors to Prince admirers, according to Rolling Stone Brasil.

Undergoing a careful renovation, the residence received several personal items from the singer, who passed away in 2016. Among the highlights are iconic clothes that make up an exclusive closet. The lower floor, with its purple walls and a 1980s sound system filled with songs that inspired The Kid transports visitors into the atmosphere of the film.
A spa reminiscent of the “When Doves Cry” music video and a lounge with musical instruments complete the experience.
